AI Development opportunities

Make complex travel inventory easier to understand and operate

A current AI layer could help travel teams interpret rates, inventory and support signals faster while keeping booking changes, ranking decisions and guest communication reviewable.

01

Demand and rate forecasting

Estimate demand and price ranges with visible uncertainty, fresh-source checks and operator review.

02

Hotel content enrichment

Normalize room, facility and policy data while routing ambiguous changes to property teams.

03

Travel support copilot

Retrieve approved booking context and draft multilingual answers without making irreversible changes.

04

Search quality monitoring

Detect stale inventory, unusual ranking shifts and integration failures for accountable investigation.

Implementation would require guest-data minimization, explainable ranking and pricing signals, bias testing, supplier-data provenance, human approval for booking changes, evaluation, monitoring and auditable incident handling.

01

Project context

A direct-booking alternative for hotels and travelers

GOeureka gives hotels a more transparent route to consumers while reducing dependence on traditional online travel intermediaries.

The envisioned ecosystem combined accommodation discovery, direct hotel inventory management, booking, payments and rewards across web and mobile products.

02

Problem to be solved

Reduce slow searches across multiple inventory sources

  • Aggregate hotel data and availability from four source systems.
  • Support a source-stated target of 500 requests per second for B2B users and the B2C portal.
  • Replace worst-case source response times reported at up to 70 seconds.
  • Add hotel inventory management and direct property integration.

The platform was engineered around demanding performance targets for hotel search and pricing.

03

Workflow and architecture

Separate durable hotel content from live availability

The architecture divided supplier data into relatively static hotel content and dynamic room availability or pricing requests.

The platform combined a database of 400,000 hotels, forecast-assisted room pricing and a microservice architecture designed for an audience of two to three million users.

01

Normalize

Prepare hotel, room, facility and media data outside peak demand.

02

Forecast

Estimate price ranges from current and past pricing signals.

03

Confirm

Clarify live availability and the actual rate during booking.

Project outcome

A broader booking experience for travelers and hotels

Request time decreased from 70 seconds to 4.6 seconds with 95% data accuracy. The project launched mainly in Central and Southeast Asia.

The roadmap included worldwide expansion plus airline and car-rental services. The business model used a 5% transaction fee, excluding token payments.
